Endangered animals

Our partners from Spanish school presented information about endangered animals they had prepared in groups. Polish students from the 5th grade revised their knowledge about polar bears, pinguins, snow leopards and mountain gorillas.

European Union Information Centre

Tuesday was a great day in Wroclaw for our 4th graders. 

We visited the European Union Information Centre
in order to learn more about European Union. 

Christmas celebrations in the Polish school

Our 6th grade students started from preparing Christmas ornaments and sent them to our project partners.

This is our Christmas Tree and European ornaments we received from partner schools

Children from grade 3 created Voki greetings (press the image to hear children speaking)

5th graders learnt carols and played them during the online meeting via Skype and Nativity play.

Transnational Meeting in Poland

Our 2nd Transnational Meeting was organized in Primary School in Jaźwina, Poland. 

The meeting focused on evaluation of the first project year and planning the following one. A new topic ‘multimedia’ has been agreed for the second project year.

We started with a welcome ceremony held in the school gym where children presented their talents and introduced our guests to  the local community. A visit to school facilities was followed by lesson observations and coordinators’ meetings. During the visit partners not only observed classroom lesson they took part in the geography-history lesson in Książ and Walim. 

A special emphasize was put on learning about an eTwinning platform – Twin Space. Afterwards a presentation of its usage was provided. In order to avoid Skype problems, an eTwinning online meeting platform, a new tool for videoconferencing, has been checked and tested.

An important part of the coordinators’ meeting was an insight into the Mobility Tool.

A historical walking tour led by a tour guide in Wroclaw was a valuable way to present key questions and issues of Lower Silesia region.

Season greetings to our friends.

Christmas time in Poland

 This is how we celebrate Christmas at school.

 Before Christmas we prepare greeting cards.

 We decorate our classrooms.

On the 6th of December Santa Claus comes to school and gives present to children.

We bring food and share it.

It is a tradition in our school to perform Nativity Play.

We sing Christmas carols and songs together.

Children learn to perform at people's houses during the Christmas time.
